Collaborative research with STU Bratislava
Diana Dzurková visited us in February and worked together with Sebastian Leonow on a program library for encrypted control on embedded hardware. Her scientific talk “Privacy-Preserving Approximated Optimal Control of Pasteurization Unit Using Homomorphic Encryption” provided insight into the research activities at STU Bratislava and demonstrated the application of secure embedded control to a real plant.
Jan Boldocky started his visit by the end of February and will stay here for 4 months. He will focus on AI-based control of flying robots, together with David Müller. The results are planned to be tested in the chair’s flight laboratory. In his scientific talk “Real-Time Implementation of Differentiable Predictive Control on Embedded Microcontroller Hardware” Jan gave insight into his current research and revealed many links to the activities in Bochum.
