Sebastian Leonow presents new results regarding virtual sensors for complicated observability situations at DYCOPS 2025 in Bratislava, Slovakia.

We are excited to announce the addition of a new high-performance computing server to our computing infrastructure. This new server is equipped with an NVIDIA L40S graphics card and an Intel® Xeon® Gold CPU with 128 processors.

Martin Mönnigmann attended the 2024 Conference on Decision and Control in Milano and presented joint work with the Flatiron Institute and Princeton University.

As part of the EU project FrontSeat, all representatives of the participating partner universities Bratislava, Pisa and Bochum met for the annual meeting to discuss the progress of the project. After Bratislava and Pisa, this year’s meeting took place in Bochum, organized by the Chair of Automatic Control and Systems Theory.
Represented by Shahriar Dadras Javan, Nora Lindner and David Müller, the Chair of Automatic Control and Systems Theory participated in the “FrontSeat Summer School 2024” on the topic of “Optimization-based Control Systems: Theory & Applications”.
Raphael Dyrska and Martin Mönnigmann presented recent research results at the NMPC 2024 conference in Kyoto, Japan.
