Expertise in model predictive control and wastewater treatment is combined and applied to real-world processes in the research project KLEEnOPT, where ACS collaborates with partners from academia, industry, and associations involved in municipal wastewater treatment.

The project is part of the Water-Energy-Nexus (WENex) initiative as part of FONA-strategy and is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space.
