Rafting Trip on the Ruhr

At regular intervals, the Chair of Automatic Control and Systems Theory organizes an excursion in and around Bochum to promote team building through a variety of activities. This year, the chair headed to the Ruhr River for a rafting trip.

The rafting trip started in Hattingen and continued to Dahlhausen. Despite the Ruhr’s low water level, the route was easily navigable. The raft was also equipped with a barbecue, tables, and seats. This allowed everyone to enjoy a barbecue together, share a meal, and make the most of the trip under perfect weather conditions.
